Highlighted by Scott Brinker’s Marketing Technology Landscape that all B2B marketers know so well by now, building a modern marketing stack is not for the faint of heart. It’s a problem ripe with complexity and potential organizational nightmares if not solved in a thoughtful, orderly way. I was lucky enough to get some insights into how to go about this in a recent Leadspace Radio podcast I did with our favorite Chief Marketing Technologist, Jason Seeba from Bloomreach. Check that out here. I think it’s required listening as this is a problem that’s only going to get harder as new technologies hit the market.

So what does a world-class demand gen machine look like? We took a stab (pun fully intended) below at one way to think of your demand gen machine and all its components. While entertaining, I really feel that these are the critical components that make for a complete demand gen factory.
