We recorded a great Leadspace radio segment last week with Erika Goldwater, VP of Marketing at ANNUITAS. It seems like the holidays were just yesterday but the B2B Spring event season is now upon us.

It’s always good to brush up on company conference etiquette and best practices to make it a successful event season. Here are just a few of the wealth of essential tips from the broadcast:

  1. Event selection – attend and participate in events where you know your buyers will be. The event should be part of your overall strategy, not a “one and done.”
  2. Pre-event booth process – craft your booth messaging carefully. Take a step back from your marketing speak and make sure people will understand what you do when passing by quickly.
  3. Giveaways – these drive traffic so make sure signage is clear and don’t hold them hostage!
